In this employee profile we talk with Saumya who is our HR and Administrative Assistant. She is based in our India office.
1. Why do you love your job?
I love my job because it doesn’t feel like a job. I love that I have a great degree of control and freedom within my job, and my head trusts me to produce high quality work and results. I work hard to maintain that level of trust, which keeps me engaged and excited. We all support each other and work together to offer creative feedback, I love being appreciated.
2. What do you think about working at GWS
Working with GWS is different experience for me, I like friendly working environment where everybody enjoys their work, here people care about me as a person and about my professional growth. There is a genuine spirit of cooperation that I have not found at other companies.
3. What are your hobbies? Or any other things you like to do after work.
I am very fun-loving person, I love dancing, listening to my favourite music, playing badminton, I read books in my spare time especially comics, also love to watch cartoons on television…Tom and Jerry is my favourite, I am also interested in gardening and I love chitchatting with my parents and friends.
4. Anything else you want to add?
As a woman, it is by far the best place I’ve ever worked — both in terms of the opportunity but also from an internal support and respect standpoint, the culture is great and the flexibility really supports my needs as an employee.
