The revolutionary Vortech™ technology ensures optimum tank efficiency, facilitating quicker backwash using less water. The Vortech™ distributor plate also prevents media channeling to ensure efficient use of the entire media bed. The design creates fluidity of the media bed and extends contaminant removal capacity; which means less regenerations and significant reduction of water use, saving water, salt and the environment, with backwash flow rate reductions of at least 30%. Plus, the Vortech™ system eliminates the need for gravel under bedding as well as hub & lateral assemblies, reducing overall cost and shipping weight.
SpringTech™ with Mid-Vortech™ utilizes a second Vortech™ plate, eliminating the need for a second media tank system, by combining two medias into one tank and keeping them physically separated, reducing overall system cost and backwash water usage, with the elimination of redundant plumbing and equipment.
